01Who is responsible

The data controller is Badisoft Bartosz Chyży, Poland, VAT ID (NIP) 7831873852, e-mail chyzybartosz@gmail.com. Because the controller is established in the European Union, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to any personal data processing described here.

02What the apps store on your device

Exactly two things, and both only so the app can reconnect by itself next time:

• the address of your PC on your local network (for example 192.168.0.17:5100), chosen by you or found automatically,
• the name that PC announces on the network, so the app can show it in the list.

Both stay in the app's own storage on your device. They are never transmitted to us, and uninstalling the app removes them. The apps create no user accounts and ask for no personal information — there is no sign-up, no e-mail, no profile.

03What travels over your network

While you fly, the apps exchange data with one destination only: your own PC, over your local network. That traffic carries the instrument picture coming from your simulator and the button presses and knob turns going back to it. It does not leave your network and it never reaches us.

To find your PC, the apps use standard local network discovery (mDNS/DNS-SD). This asks devices on your own network to identify themselves; it does not reach the internet.

04What FSG SimBridge stores on your PC

The companion program keeps a small amount of data locally, in %LOCALAPPDATA%\FlightSimGeeks\FSG:

• panel calibration — where the instrument sits in each aircraft's cockpit, so the app can pop it out for you on later flights,
• diagnostic logs — a rotating technical log used when something goes wrong.

None of it is transmitted anywhere. If you ever send us a log to help diagnose a problem, that is entirely your choice, and you can read the file first — it is plain text.

05Purchases

The apps are sold through Google Play. Google is the merchant of record: it handles the payment, and we never see your payment details. We receive from Google only what any developer receives — aggregated sales and payout reporting. Google's own handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Google Play may also collect crash reports and basic usage statistics as part of the platform itself. We add no analytics of our own — the apps contain no tracking, advertising or measurement libraries whatsoever.

06This website

flightsimgeeks.com is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. GitHub, as the hosting provider, processes standard server logs (including visitor IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site — see the GitHub Privacy Statement.

07Children

These are flight simulation tools for a general audience. They are not directed at children, and they collect no personal data from anyone, including children.

08Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. In practice we hold no personal data about app users, so there is usually nothing to retrieve or delete — but if you contact us we will tell you exactly that, in writing, and act on any request that does apply.

If you believe your data has been mishandled, you may lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

09Changes to this policy

If the apps ever start processing data differently — for example if a future version adds an online feature — this page will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top will change. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
